I am pleased that there are lot demonstrations going on world wide. Even in Israel, 2000 comrades protested Israel blind aggression. It is a little upsetting though because Gaza has been under this sort of relentless bombing for some time with much less reaction even in the Arab world. That said, perhaps this will be a catalyst to make connections between the indiscriminant use of violence for political ends by imperialist powers in Palestine, Lebanon, and Iraq.
There will be an demonstration here in Beirut tomorrow JULY 20 organized by a coalition of
civil society organizations called "Lil Hayat" (For Life) in front of the UN House in Riad El Solh Square in Beirut at 11am. The demonstration will then march to the European Union Headquarters.
